Because of its special location, Residence Hirscher offers the possibility to visit most of the tourist and historical attractions.Historical attractions: County History Museum – Casa Sfatului, the Museum of the First Romanian School, White Tower, The Weavers' Bastion, the Graft Bastion, the Black Church, the String Street, the Honterus Library, the Ecaterina’s Gate (Poarta Ecaterinei), Dupa Ziduri (Behind the Walls), Poarta Schei (Schei Gate), Brasov Fortress as well as numerous churches, etc.
Tourist attractions: Tampa, Solomon’s Stones (Pietrele lui Solomon), Republicii street, consisting of many stores and restaurants, etc. | | Directions | A. Access by car: the access to the guest house can be made, no matter what is the direction to the entrance of Brasov, and reported to the City Center by the Schei Gate (Poarta Schei) or the Castle street you can easily reach the destination.

Locally, the access by the means of mass transportation can be made from the bus station located at 150 m distance from the Guest House, Nicolae Balcescu Street, by taking the buses 50, 50B, 51, 52 towards the Railway Station, Livada Postei or Saturn or by the Livada Postei Bus Terminal at 1 km distance where you can find mass transportation buses to all the regions of Brasov.
Taxi: at 150 km away from the Guest House there is a taxes station with 5 places.
B. Access to the railway stations: At a 5 km distance there is the Central Railway Station for trains with internal and international routes.
C. Airport (final completion estimated in 2011): to reach to the future airport you can go to Sibiu (E68) and from the exit of Brasov to Sibiu until the future airport there is a distance of 5 km
D. The route Brasov-Poiana: to Poiana Brasov, one can go through Livada Postei, located at 1 km distance from the Guest House, by personal car or by bus no. 20 that makes the connection between Livada Postei and Poiana Brasov. |
